Christmas Gifts for Children of St. Thomas of Canterbury

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR CHILDREN OF ST. THOMAS OF CANTERBURY   
The St. Vincent DePaul Society will be handing out Christmas slips again this year in order to provide gifts for the needy children of St. Thomas of Canterbury parish in the Uptown neighborhood. For many children these will be the only gifts they will receive. Vincentians will be in the church foyer the weekends of November 18 and 19 and November 25 and 26 during all the masses handing out names of needy children in order for parishioners to purchase gifts for them. Please return your gifts during the masses on December 9 and 10 so they can be taken down to St. Thomas to insure delivery by Christmas. If you prefer to give a cash donation envelopes will be placed in the back of the church marked “St. Thomas”. Again, we wish to thank everyone for their overwhelming response to this very special project.
